Summary

Learning heavily into scholarship from Earth System(s) Science, Stratigraphy, Anthropology, and Environmental History, I describe events unfolding in the late Holocene that suggest the beginning of a new geological epoch, the Anthropocene. I then propose we consider a new answer to one of our guiding questions: When do teachers teach?
