Throughout his career, Bruno Latour sprinkled all types of visual representations onto the pages of his books: photographs, maps, diagrams, schematics, figures, tables, etc. At the beginning of a 2017 lecture in Aarhus he somewhat jokingly referred to his drawings as “Scribbles,” soon after which he proceeded to create a Poe-inspired maelstrom scribble on a large whiteboard for his attentive audience. In these Scribbles galleries, I aim to present the full range of visual representations he managed to slip through the editorial nets and shoehorn into his published books.
